RYAN McNAMARA PRESENTS
KLAUS VON NICHTSSAGEND: THE MUSICAL

Years ago, a stranger landed in Brooklyn and quietly rented a storefront. No one saw him; the only evidence of his arrival was a sign that appeared in the window reading, “Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery.” Soon after, art exhibitions cropped up in the space, and three directors became the face of the gallery, but we’ve never seen the man behind the eponym. Now, after so many shows, most overlook the gallery’s title and its absent owner; those who don’t get an evasive answer when they ask the usually forthcoming staff about their employer. (“Ah, I think he’s skiing in the Alps” is the most common reply.)

Who is this man Klaus von Nichtssagend? Why did he open this space? And why are we all singing?

Ryan McNamara and his accomplished troupe of actors, singers and dancers tackle these questions and more in “Klaus von Nichtssagend: The Musical.”

Three performances will be held at 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. Please reserve your spot in the audience at klaus@klausgallery.com. Specify how many attendees and which performance you will be attending.
